You'll be solving big challenges and working with low-latency, large-scale systems, in a small, fast-paced, collaborative environment! In this role, you will help shape the technical direction and you'll be building tools for a diverse set of problems from server capacity planning and management, service monitoring tooling infrastructure, system inventory, and server provisioning. Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, high-performance mobile applications using ReactNative, Typescript, Node, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL

• Lead the development of entire project and solve challenging technical problems

• Mentor and guide junior developers in best practices and coding standards

• Lead code reviews, API design reviews, and technical product reviews, offering constructive criticism and feedback

• Proactively communicate to Product Managers and Engineering Developers in regard to each ongoing project to ensure product success

• Be involved in the software lifecycle, from requirements gathering to development, testing and releasing code

• Promote and maintain high levels of efficiency and quality for both self and the team, with a focus on best practices such as Unit Testing and Continuous Delivery

• Ensure that solutions meet both customer and business needs, not just minimum requirements

• Act as a thought leader by participating in community events and mentoring junior and intermediate developers.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience delivering multiple mobile projects utilizing technologies like React Native, and Typescript.

• Proven experience in deploying mobile applications (preferably on both iOS and Android platforms)

• Strong background in maintaining a production app with version control practices

• Demonstrated ability to construct an application from scratch and lead the development of new projects

• Ability to address complex business requirements

• Track record of leading projects from start to finish, including design, architecture, and development

• Strong understanding of the tech stack used by the company or equivalent technologies and a drive to continuously learn and expand technical knowledge

• Proficient in Javascript, Typescript, React Native and Nodejs

• Demonstrated skills in performance optimization and scaling solutions.

• Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure, expertise in Azure will be advantage.

• Up-to-date with current trends and advancements in the tech ecosystem

• Eligible to work in Canada and open to relocating to Calgary
